Share your life hack

Your life hack could be the unique approach that someone is looking for

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt? No matter how big or small your life hack is, you can be sure it will be useful to others living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) too and they will be grateful you shared it.

Simply create your own life hack video and share on your own social media channels using the hashtag. #SMAMyWay

Your social media contribution could include:

  • A video or a written description with a photo
  • Personal experiences and life hacks
  • An inspirational story
  • Remember, it might be a small thing that makes a big difference!

If creating a video, think about the following aspects:

  • Try to keep it short (around 45 seconds or under) and to the point
  • Make sure you can be seen clearly – front lighting is usually best
  • Make sure you can be heard clearly – try to record your video in a quiet place and speak as clearly as possible close up to your recording device

It’s up to you what you decide to share, but please try to avoid:

  • Any mention of specific medicines, treatment methods or medical advice
  • Any mention of specific individuals, commercial organisations or brands
  • Remarks that others may find offensive
  • Language, images or footage that may be deemed inappropriate e.g. swearing
If you don’t have a life hack to share right now, be sure to watch those already on SMA My Way and share them on your social media platforms
